Greetings from Your School Board Members…
“We are all in this together!” a student’s poster in the middle school proclaims. Our children’s success in the diverse and changing world is dependant on all of us working together - parents, family, caring community adults and all the employees of the school district. Teaching children in Bemidji is truly a team effort. We're fortunate to have experienced, caring teachers and dedicated staff, parents, and volunteers willing to go the extra mile to help our children succeed. Please take time to review our most recent accomplishments and find out what our schools can offer you and your child.
As elected leaders, we welcome your input. Contact information for the school board is available on this website, along with meeting minutes. Board meetings are held the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Bemidji High School Media Center. Please come to our informal listening session at 5:45 p.m. prior to the school board meeting, Board members are there to listen to your questions, ideas and concerns. Board meetings are also televised live on Paul Bunyan Cable Channel 90.
