Purpose

The food service department supports the learning process by providing students with high quality, nutritious meals at an affordable price.

We serve over 4,200 lunches and 900 breakfasts per day during the school year.  The food service staff provides a necessary link between nutrition and learning.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM BEMIDJI SCHOOL’S FOOD SERVICE**

INFORMATION FOR THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR

1. Balances –
*Balances stay in the student’s accounts over the summer break whether the balance is negative or positive.
*If a student transfers to a new building – elementary to middle or middle to high school or any other building transfer – the meal balance transfers.
*If a student has a negative balance at the end of the school year and their sibling has a positive balance, a transfer will be done to clear the negative balance account.
2. Graduating Seniors –
*Please clear any negative balances before the end of the school year.
*Any remaining money in a senior account may be transferred to a sibling by calling the Food Service Office (218-333-3100 ext 141).
*No cash/check refunds on accounts less than $5.00.
3. Credit/Debit Payments -
*REVTRAK will be closed for the summer starting June 20th. Credit/Debit payments can be made again beginning August 13th.
4. Family Access –
*If you do not wish to receive low balance notices for the summer, please uncheck the LOW BALANCE NOTICE in your Family Access account.
5. Key Pad Numbers –
*Students keep the same key pad number throughout their school years at ISD #31. Please keep the numbers confidential and do not share with other students.
*Any problems during the school year with key pad numbers, please call the Food Service Dept. and a new number can be issued.
