JW Smith is participating in the “Being Present” attendance campaign in Beltrami County.  All students in K-5 have collaborated on individual class portraits in Mr. Alberti’s art room featuring a variety of inventors throughout history.  During this time, students discussed how by being present these individuals could impact the world we live in.

Each work was created on mixed media paper using pencil, marker, watercolor and tempera paint, measuring 36″x48″ each (16 in total). These creations will be hanging downstairs at JW Smith just in time for conferences so make sure to stop on by and check them out!
