Second grade students in the classrooms of Mr. McKeown, Mrs. Pearson, Mr. Purrington, and Mrs. Shanahan began the year in Social Studies making globes. From ooey, gooey art paste and newspaper strips on balloons, to cerulean blue paint and cutout continents, this project was a big hit! Thanks to the many parent volunteers who helped with this messy, but fun, hands-on project.
