On October 10th fifteen (15) teachers, paras and administrators attended a Dream Catcher session facilitated by the District’s American Indian Culture and Curriculum Specialist Priscilla Fairbanks.  Participants read two versions of the Dream Catcher story, one from the Lakota perspective, and the other from the Ojibwe perspective.  A Venn Diagram was created comparing the two versions.  Pictured here are some of the completed Dream Catchers.  Another session is planned for the spring semester.
