Our district’s American Indian Culture and Curriculum Specialist, Priscilla Fairbanks, taught students in Mrs. Skipper’s and Mr. Sayler’s classes how to make Dream Catchers.  They also learned the story of the Dream Catcher from both the Ojibwe perspective and the Lakota perspective.  Students made their own hoops out of red willow and made Dream Catchers as part of Native America Heritage Month.
