The 2024 BEA awards honored three outstanding individuals:
- Teacher of the Year: Amy Riley, Counselor at Gene Dillon Elementary
- Support Professional of the Year: Tammy Dunlap, Secretary at the AEC
- Lay Educator of the Year: Deb Ostman, Foster Grandma and Library Volunteer at JW Smith Elementary
All three awards were presented during the all-employee back-to-school gathering at the High School on Wednesday, August 28th. Each award recipient received a plaque and a gold keychain engraved by Ken K Thompson Jewelry, a $75 gift certificate to the Green Mill Restaurant, a card, and a large floral arrangement created by Bemidji Netzer Floral.
