Bemidji High School’s wrestling team showcased their talent at the Mn State Wrestling Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center, with 13 wrestlers qualifying. Highlights included two Lumberjacks reaching the finals and three others earning all-state status: Senior Kylie Donat became the State Champion, Junior Maya Schmidt was the State Runner-up, with Parker Orvik finishing 4th, Brenalen Fredriksen-Holm and Taylor Merschman both securing 5th place. State Qualifiers also included Gabe Morin, Gavin Osborn, Brody Castonguay, Alec Newby, Nick Strand, Kiera Hagman, Leah Willard, Brie Leeper, underscoring Bemidji’s strong presence in the wrestling community.
