April was Child Abuse Prevention Month.  The pinwheel is one of the national symbols for child abuse prevention.  Some of our elementary classrooms participated in a group project to decorate a pinwheel in honor of this important topic.  We would like to thank area businesses who donated prizes for our winning classrooms.  A big thank you goes to Chocolate’s Plus, North Country Confections, Dairy Queen, and McDonald’s.  Great job to all of the teachers and students who participated!
