February is “I Love to Read” Month
February is “I Love to Read” month for Lincoln Elementary. We have many fun activities planned for the month. Please make every effort to read with your child daily during the month. We will be challenging students in school to read, read and read. Here are some of the activities happening at Lincoln: Kickoff – February 1st-28th. Every Friday activities:
Feb. 3rd– Hat’s off to reading! Wear you silliest hat.
Feb. 10th –Slip into a good book. Wear your slippers.
Feb. 17th – Shine the light on reading. Flashlight reading.
Feb. 24th – Cozy up to a good book. Wear your PJ’s to school.
We will hold an all school reading event on Thursday, March 2nd, from 1:45-2:45. Parents are invited to attend and read with their child. Please review the calendar attached to this newsletter for more information.
