27th Annual District 31 Spelltacular
On January 24th at 7 PM the BMS Cafeteria was energized by students from all over the district as they competed in the 27th annual Spelltacular spelling competition.
These students had already competed within their classes and schools for the opportunity to come to this event. After nine rounds, the winning word was PERTURB.
The winning student was an 8th grader from Theta Pod. Other winners included a 6th grader from Alpha Pod, a 7th grader from Kappa Pod, a 5th grader from Lincoln Elementary and a 5th grader from Horace May Elementary.
