User Accounts

User accounts are automatically created for all employees. When the account is created, an email with username and password is sent to the employee’s personal email account. If you do not receive this information, contact Technical Support (helpdesk@isd31.net).

Your user account gets you into several systems. In most cases, the username changes, but your password is consistent between systems:

Google Workspace
ISD 31 is integrated with Google Workspace. This includes GMail for your official district email, Google Classroom, Google Drive and other related applications. We suggest you use the Chrome browser for a consistent experience when using Google applications, but most current browsers will work.

Changing Your Password
For security purposes, your password must be changed every 100 days. You will receive a notification in your “isd31.net” email Inbox 10 days before your password expires. You will also receive subsequent reminders 5 and 2 days before expiration. Please do not ignore these reminders. You will lose access to several systems if your password expires.

Your first step is to Enroll in SSRPM – This sets you up in the password reset system.

Then, when you receive your password expiration alert, Reset Your Password.

Systems Requiring Login

Your user account gets you in to several systems. In the following cases, you will use the same password:

GMail
Username: Firstname_Last@isd31.net

Skyward Student – For gradebook or student info:
Username: Firstname_Last

District Wireless Network:
Username: Firstname_Last

Windows Computer Login:
Username: Firstname_Last

Viewpoint Data Warehouse:
Username: Firstname_Last

Employee Access

You also have an account in the Employee Access system. Employee Access is where you go to do timesheets (if your job requires them) and check your Payroll and employment-related data. For the majority of employees (those with non-admin access to the system) this is a separate username and password. If you do not know your Employee Access username and password, do the following:

You should receive an email with your username and a link to reset your password. If you run into any other error, contact Payroll at 31124.

Technical Support

If you are in need of technical support simply send an email to helpdesk@isd31.net. While it may seem simpler to just contact one of our staff directly, submitting a request via this email address puts your issue into a queue that every member of the IT team can see. This can mean faster resolution if your local team member is busy or out of the building.

Online Resources

  • News – View the archive of all items posted to the ISD 31 Staff email group.
  • District Forms – The place to go to find a variety of forms. You must be logged in to your Google account to access most forms.
  • Infinitec – Free professional development and CEUs – including required areas for license renewal.
  • Submit Work Order – To submit a work order, click on the Google “waffle”, scroll down, and find the icon that says “Asset Essentials”. This will log you in automatically via SSO with Google. View Example – Click Here
  • Type III Powerpoint –  View the Type III School Bus Knowledge and Assessment PowerPoint presentation.
  • Viewpoint Data Warehouse – Username and password required.  Integrates current, relevant student data from multiple sources and merges it into a single reporting and analysis system.
